Scan Worthy ("we," "our," "us") provides a QR code generation service operated by Absolutely Massive LLC. We offer free static QR code generation and a paid Smart QR subscription service at scanworthy.com.
Free static QR codes encode your destination URL directly into the QR pattern. Once downloaded, the QR code functions independently of our service. We do not host, redirect, or control free static QR codes after download. The QR code will function as long as your destination URL remains active.
Smart QR codes route through our redirect service. The subscription is $9/month, billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, your Smart QR codes will continue redirecting to their last configured destination at no additional cost to you. We reserve the right to discontinue this redirect service with a minimum of 90 days advance notice.
If you cancel within 30 days of subscribing, you may request a full refund of your most recent payment by contacting us through the support form in your dashboard. QR codes associated with the refunded subscription will be deactivated upon refund. After 30 days, no refunds are issued for past billing periods, but you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.
Scan Worthy provides QR code generation tools and general print guidance. We are not responsible for print quality, scanning failures, or any damages arising from printing methods, materials, colors, paper stock, ink quality, lamination, environmental conditions, or any other factors outside our control. QR code scannability depends on many variables including print size, resolution, contrast, surface material, lighting conditions, and the scanning device used.
You are solely responsible for testing your printed QR codes before committing to a full print run. We provide scannability checks within our design tool as a convenience, but these checks cannot account for real-world printing variables. We strongly recommend printing a test copy and scanning it with multiple devices before mass production.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Scan Worthy and Absolutely Massive LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of our service. This includes, without limitation, damages arising from:
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
QR codes you generate using our service are yours to use without restriction, including for commercial purposes. No attribution to Scan Worthy is required. You retain all rights to your destination URLs, logos, and other content you incorporate into your QR codes.
You may not use our service to generate QR codes that link to illegal content, malware, phishing pages, or content that violates applicable law. We reserve the right to disable Smart QR redirects that violate this policy.
Free static QR code users are anonymous — we do not collect personal information. Smart QR subscribers provide an email address and payment information. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers. Scan data (device type, country, timestamp) is collected for Smart QR analytics. We do not sell customer data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. If we ever discontinue the service, we commit to providing a minimum of 90 days advance notice to all current and former paying customers.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
